This song refers to the lack of identify of Mauritians more precisely the Creoles that are often obsessed with the European culture rather than focusing on their own cultural background. This is a non for profit space created to promote Mauritian Creoles that are black and of mixed heritage that today represent a minority on the island. The aim of this blog is to discover the music from both the past and the present. This journey will also cover both the traditional and historical past of the island that also helped shape the musical landscape over the years. This space has no political purpose and in no way intends to discriminate against anyone.
